Popping in....it is extremely windy!
No eagles seen or heard, there's a piece of plastic caught in the branches on the left side of the tree.

Well, it's now Thursday at 7:53am and I just noticed that I posted this in the wrong thread...

Oct 12, 2012 update from Bev Day at OWL

"Quick note to let you know mama was back today. I didn't see her on the nest but Ralph did.
Didn't see any sign of a new mate but that may be to soon as the pairs are just starting to arrive back in the area ."

Thank you Bev. We are certainly keeping our fingers crossed that Mom is able to find a new mate this year.

Gosh, it's been so long it took me a few minutes to remember how to do this and then I couldn't decide if these should be here or on the cam thread. Oh well, I will put them here and if an admin wants to move them please feel free to do so.

Welcome home Ma! And who is this you have with you? A new boyfriend perhaps?

Beautiful pictures Judy! Thanks for sharing....
I was just asking the other day about this cam. It would be so nice if there was enough activity to warrant it turned back on.
I often wonder if the little raccoon spent any more nights in the nest.
