I was out at OWL today and while I didn't see anyone at home near the nest I did see a rather large adult eagle sitting in the field next door. It looked like it was on some food, probably a duck. My guess is that it was Ma since she frequently hunts in and around that field.
Yes Doreen the weather was absolutely miserable both today and yesterday (although I think yesterday was worse). It was pouring rain all day and the wind was howling off the bay thus making it bitterly cold. No wonder our eagles are making themselves scarce! It's supposed to improve significantly tomorrow and I'll be out there again for a short time, so hopefully I'll have a sighting...maybe...please.

Well I did see Ma this morning around 9 am but I didn't bother with pictures. She was sitting in the same place as last time, almost at the top of the nest tree, just looking all around no doubt surveying her domain. The funny thing was she was still there, in the exact same place, when I got back at 4 pm although I think she must have left at some point during the day.

:hello: I had the cam up quite a while yesterday but spotted nor heard anyone. Very windy this morning with wind in the mic possibly obliterating any eagle sounds we could be hearing. Good to hear one is still very visible around and in the nest tree jewill! Very Happy
