Eagle left nest at 7:19 am

Glad to hear about all the eagle sightings, Terry, Phuddy and SoCal EagleFan! Lovely pictures of a lovely nest and area.

I'm bringing Terry's post forward - hopefully Richard will be able to get out there sooner rather than later.

Hearing a bird, not sure it's a Eagle though. Sounds like it's right above the camera. That was about 7: 37am

When looking at the Close Up cam I noticed an eagle sitting behind the nest. I have circled where I believe the eagle is sitting. You have to sit a long time watching the cam and blow it up to full screen.... to see the eagle move to prove its an eagle.

Good catch on spotting the Eagle.

Just heard one, not on cam but sounded very close by. Time was about 3:46pm

when I blew it up on my iPad I could see the eagle good catch...

When i watched the nest last spring on my phone I saw someone walking under the nest about the same area what caught my attention to it was the sun kept hitting the camera they were using and I would see the glare from it. When I zoomed in on it was when I could see the person but don't know how to take screen shots on my phone or iPad for that matter.

I'm not sure how this works, but I'm trying to post/share a screen shot I got of the nest with mama in it yesterday a.m. I guess they start guarding their nest at a certain time in the Fall so no other birds try to steal it?
