Mary & Bev I've also been reading Tracey's posts on FB and I am keeping my fingers crossed that PPO & Papa have owlets this season Wink I'm guessing they decided to nest in the pot on the other side of the balcony Chin You can see the same yards in Tracey's pics.

Pot Plant Owl

We have two eggs but expect a third in a day or two. Its lovely to hear them calling at sunset and during the night as we lie in bed, only a few metres away.

Pot Plant Owl

A Grey Go-away Bird (Grey Lourie) scolds PPO, who takes no notice. The 'garden birds' are never happy to have a resident predator.

She is now sitting on 2 eggs and seldom leaves the nest. The male feeds her during the night. We have not seen any more mating and the territorial calling has stopped. I don't think we will get a third egg this year.
