Good morning! (Or good afternoon in Johannesburg!)

I like the ears (or tufts?) on the young one

And a picture of beautiful Mom (I assume - Moms usually spend more time at the nest than Dads)

I'm guessing it's the oldest one who is up, while the two younger ones nap in the sun.

The young ones are actually getting quite large!

I think the youngest is the one hiding behind the tree. He/she seems to be recovering nicely from his fall out of the planter and stay at rehab, and looks to me as if he/she is catching up in size.

The young one on the left has been watching something in the distance and seems to be squawking at it.

I keep thinking how well fertilized that plant must be with these three living in the pot Rolling on floor laughing

They're around 4 weeks old - just saw some big wing stretches, though didn't manage to capture them.

I need to check their blog and website to learn at what age this type of owl fledges, and find out how long it stays in the area after that.

4:18 pm nest time
They really do get bigger overnight!

The little one is there, in the shadiest corner being sheltered by the big ones (probably not intentionally, but he/she probably has less feathers so needs a little more shelter).

A couple more pictures....

I think this is the youngest one showing it's big wing:

And while it's not the greatest shot - you can actually see that there are three:
