also, ty Bev for posting the vid of the Salem NH eagle rescue in my home town awhile back, since then i have found out there is an eagle nest about 1 to 2 miles from my house in heavy woods where some hunting takes place, i was very surprised and happy, would love to go snd try to see if it can be seen from a road nearby, i am going to ask my younger son, he is a woods person and may know that area.

That's a great video, Doreen. David Hancock and I have received numerous copies of it that we've been sent. Only problem is, that is not a Bald Eagle. David says it's a White-tailed Sea Eagle, which is one of the eagle species that inhabit Europe. You will notice that the eagle in the video does not have a white head. Rather's it a light beige. The Bald Eagle is only native to North America.

Here's a good site where you can see the distinction:

Great story, Marg! Good to see the numbers are up.

It looks as if that is north of Vancouver, while our tower cams at Chehalis are east of Vancouver - right? I wonder if the same eagles visit both sites at different times, or if this is a different group.

The story editor has been a bit touchy lately - I'll try to take a look at it tonight.
