Good morning Mr. and Mrs. President

Another beautiful morning at the nest. Ma looking around and now and then calls out. Well, I think it is Ma. Still trying to figure out who is who.

Good morning Washington DC

A view of the "two eggs" and then and I am assuming Ma settles back down on the eggs and pulls material closer to herself.

Washington DC

Another warm day for Ma and Pa which is evident by the screen shot.

"How do you attach "Photo (C) 2017 American Eagle Foundation" to the screen shots? Do you just cut and paste after you insert a file as below?

5:51 PM (ET) - TFL rolls the eggs, then resumes incubating.

6:05 PM (ET) - MrP flies in with a food delivery for TFL, who gobbled it up promptly as he left the nest.

7:35 PM (ET) - TFL incubating and dozing, beak slightly open. Very sleepy eagle tonight.

I don't know if anyone knows, or can know for sure what the cause is, but Mr.P seems to sneeze a lot. Do eagles have allergies?

Good evening, all! A quick peek at the nest at 9:22 PM (ET) was just in time to observe TFL rolling the eggs, and then settling back down to incubate.

Yep, I've noticed that, too. I've seen the same behavior with a couple of other eagles (e.g., I think one of the Decorah eagles may have the same issue). I know birds in general can and do have allergies, and sneezing is a symptom, so I think it's a safe bet to say that eagles are subject to allergies.

If anyone here knows more about this subject, please let us know! Smile
