I followed these two lovely eagles last year and thought I would do it again this year also. I can remember being so excited last year when I was watching the eggs hatch and did some screen shots of the event. I now know how to do short videos and I'm crossing my fingers I'll get some good ones to share with everyone.

I was watching them for quite awhile today, busy fluffy their nest and building up the sticks around the nest. For some reason I started taping them and caught this moment of them bonding. I couldn't believe how lucky that was.

I was hoping that I would catch her laying a egg this morning, but it didn't happen. Hopefully soon as I caught another bonding session with them this afternoon.

This was great (and perfect timing, for sure)! I love watching these two work on their nest, they're really thoughtful and methodical in their efforts - it's amazing to observe. Excited for this new season's eggs-to-come!

Thank you Elaine for those beautiful videos. This nest was the very first eagles nest I watched (in 2016). I fell in love with Free and Bert, and have never looked back. I will always love the eagles. Cloud 9

That tree freaks me out every time it starts swaying. They've done so much work on it! It doesn't even look like any of the other trees are even moving most of the time. Hoping for eggs soon and hoping that tree stays strong!!

First egg just a few minutes ago, Dad flew in and disturbed her about 1/2 way thru the process, he wisely left and she continued the laying
