January 22, 2016 It is a beautiful sunny day at the nest. The temperature will be in the low 50's. The eagles have been busy this morning and arrived around 9:30.

They have been moving sticks. Both have been on and off the nest. Dad brought in a stick. So good to be able to observe them again.



They continued to stay at the nest.



10:18am

1;31pm to 1:55pm We had another afternoon visit. It is about 55 degrees.

One of the eagles spent time in the nest from 10:34am to 1:050am.

January 24, 2016 Another warm sunny day here.

1o:15am to 10:21am Both eagles are on the nest.




10:21am Dad leaves the nest.


10:42am Mom still watching over the area.

January 25, 2016 Hi Erikas9999 Mom has done that in other years too. Maybe it has something to do with hormones. Today is a colder day with temperatures in the high 30's.

8:30am Both eagles are in the nest. They nestorate until 8:32am when dad leaves. I think mom is eating something near 6 0'clock. 9:03am Both are off the nest.





9:03am Magpie arrives. It checks out the nest. Mom eventually returns and chases it.

10:18am Both eagles are at the nest again. Observers report that mom is on top in this picture. I have seen this before and Raptor Resource Project says this is dominance behavior.


The eagles continued to work on the nest.

2:48pm Both on the nest again. There is a lot of vocalization. They have food. Here is a video of the intruder coming too close.

10:45am Both eagles are on the nest moving sticks and tugging them this way and that.





10:50am to 11:01am One eagle had left.
