Nest Activity continued - Sunday, October 04, 2015
(observations by myself)

8:35 The sub adult flies in from the back of the nest tree pasture. He flew in from the Northwest. He is sitting in the upper branches of the nest tree.

8:37 The SA never vocalizes, just looks around and flies again back to the NW.

9:05 It is raining and I am headed home.

9:12 I checked the power poles again. The sub adult is perched on the highest pole during the rain.

9:15 Now I really am headed home. There were two rainbows this morning in the pasture sky to the west. The way of the eagle continues to unfold before our eyes. May we observe and learn and not judge or predict. Ozzie would want us to go forward with Harriet. Miss you, Ozzie.

Thank You Vicki! Good to see our Harriet has some company. It will be interesting to see if SA stays although it looks as if he may, at least so far. Praying for the nest, it's beautiful eagles and hopefully new little eaglets.

Is Harriet Out Chasing Rainbows? 10-04-15

Harriet spent the night away from the nest, as we have seen her do in the past. The sub adult flies to the nest tree briefly then returns to the power poles behind the pasture. I check some favorite spots of Harriet's but she is not to be seen. She must be out chasing the rainbows of Oz. The way of the eagle continues to unfold before our eyes. May we observe and learn - not judge or predict. Ozzie would want us to go forward with Harriet. Be safe, Harriet; missing you, Ozzie.
