And Finally: Newly released bald eagle honors congressman's late wife --

The last of nine baby bald eagles raised at the American Eagle Foundation in Pigeon Forge this year is flying free.

Hope ," the sibling of "Miracle," was released into the wild Wednesday morning from the hacking tower on Douglas Lake in Jefferson County. The release was beautiful, and Hope flew free into the world of nature. We wish him safe journeys and long life.

AEF Empty Nest Support

Al Cecere has asked that everyone now label ALL screen shots & videos with, "Copyright 2015. American Eagle Foundation www.eagles.org. Please also still include the nest ID of either NEFL or DW. It doesn't necessarily have to be posted on the picture itself, but I have posted an example:

This MUST be posted on or near EVERY picture posted!!!

I'm afraid that this may result in fewer pictures posted--extra work!!??

Thanks for letting us know, Mary - and it is going to take longer, especially with such a long credit line - though I certainly think it's important to know where images are from, and to make sure proper credit is given.

One of the osprey cams I watch has a credit line at the bottom which they ask that we always include when doing screenshots:

And all of our cams have the option to have at least a brief line of text, usually at the top - not as many characters at the need, but could do something like
NEFL - www.eagles.org - (c) 2015 AEF

Embedding text in the stream does mean that sometimes it gets in the way, but our zoomers learned to work around that fairly quickly.
