Lots of Activity for a Cold Day
It has been a pretty busy day in the nest today, but still no egg. Both Liberty & Justice were around early this morning. We have seen them eating fish a couple of different times today. We also have seen lots of work by both eagles fluffing up the nest and getting it ready. Liberty was hunkered down for almost an hour this afternoon then seemed to get agitated and took off. She is clearly on her own timetable at this point

Another Active Day
Today was a much nicer day weather-wise for Liberty & Justice. Lots of fish eating in the nest. The pair seems much more defensive all day as other eagles approached the nest. Now, late in the day both are on the nest and seem to be waiting for something to happen. Will there be an egg tonight? Stay tuned to find out!

New Week Ahead
We all continue to watch and learn new things about this nest and Liberty & Justice. Again today we have seen both of them in the nest at times, one of them in the nest at times and at least one juvenile eagle in the nest. It is a very bright day with lots of sunshine, but still very cold. Tomorrow should be a warmer day. Here's hoping we see an egg or two very soon

---------------------------------------

Here are two different juvies who have been on the nest today. Perhaps all this intrusion is preventing the laying of another clutch?? Mad

Windy but Warmer
The wind has definitely picked up today, but it should get into the 30's this afternoon. It has been a busy day at the nest already this morning with a Juvie, then Justice and most recently Liberty sitting in the nest. Still hoping for an egg soon!

Yet another juvie---they sure use this nest as a resting point.

Snow Moving In Today
It looks like we will be in for some snow this afternoon and evening. Hopefully the heavier amounts stay west and south. Eagles already in the nest this morning eating a fish. Here's to a productive day for all!

Mom is on the nest and it's blowing, snowing/sleeting

She looked almost like she was rolling an egg after the above picture and sort of wiggled down onto the nest---is there an egg???

O Happy day. I am so glad to see an egg here. Mary do you know if this would be considered a second clutch or not?

Donna ---not sure if it is official but I'm calling it a second clutch. The first egg before was laid way back on Feb. 13th---way too long ago for this to be egg #2. I think most would consider this to be a second clutch. What a miserable evening she chose to lay that egg. Poor Liberty!
