A couple days late but here is a photo I took when I was out on the trail with eaglewoman and mykitters. Actually I think I took this before they got out there.

Just saw a photo link on one of my previous posts. Did you put that there, JudyB? That is a cool looking cat, but it isn't mine. Mine is a Sylvester (putytatt)- looking cat.

Well, doesn't that figure.......camera not working on a week-end near egg laying time! Last year 1st egg was layed on Feb 3rd, if I remember right. So, it could be any day now. I even shut off my firewall, in case it was blocking Quicktime in any way. Or was it Feb 6th? Puzzled Yeah, probably the 6th, then the 9th and then the 12th or 13th right?:dunno:
What cute lil icons we have! Gotta love the blankie one.Titter

Since it is close to time for eggs then maybe, just maybe, they are switching the cam back to a C/U view. Chin

Left thumb up Nice photo putytatt!I wasn't able to watch at all today, but I did get a chance to go down there around 4:45-5:40 and there was plenty of action at the nest! Liberty and Patriot kept taking turns flying off and coming back with sticks for the nest. They both worked very hard on that nest the whole time I was down there! They finally took a break and mated at 5:37 after some calling. I got a few videos of the nestorations, but it was too dark to take video of their mating session.

Here are the videos...Notice the little blackbird that visits the nest area in the 1st video~doesn't seem to bother the eagles at all!

Nope, not me. :dunno:

I occasionally fix broken links, but it's against policy to change someone's post without permission unless the post contains a fairly substantial violation of the rules. And even then we're supposed to tell people (though I admit if someone made an embarrassing typo while discussing a duck - I might just fix it and not embarrass them by telling them what they typed. Whistling)

Puzzled Eaglecam still out this morning, sounds like Caltrans is on it, so hopefully we'll be up and running again soon! Here is an e-mail from Denise, and don't forget you can check her blog for more updates from the Biologists in the field here is the link again...

"We don't know what is going on. The equipment has been checked and
everything is working on our end. The feed to the biologists is still good,
so we are assuming there is something going on with the internet provider.
We are checking into it this morning again."
