Eaglet, you and Judy have commented on that. I wonder if they have a food port in that area. Sort of like it is their daily catch....I am so glad that there is a cam here.

Looking back over the info I have from past years, it looks as if this pair usually lays eggs in the last week of January (though the first egg was January 5 in 2010) - so it "should" be another week or two. But.... Chin I can't put my finger on why, but I'm thinking they may be closer than that.

Hi Bev! I was able to get the cam fine a couple of days ago, but now the site wants me to allow an add-on in order to watch it...don't feel comfortable doing that, so I don't think I'll be watching unless someone can tell me it's safe to let them put the add on, on my computer....too badSad

I had to update the plug-in for Windows Media Player recently - am guessing they upgraded so are now transmitting using a newer version than I had. I have Firefox, and it worked fine for me - but it is good to be careful! Which browser do you use, Debbie? I might be able to find some info on it.

Donna, I have a picture of Savannah waddling towards the nest box with a meal from that corner on page 3. Any time I have seen them go to get food it's up there near the top bush. I'm guessing that it must be a convenient spot for the caregivers to place the food for them. Smile
