10:26 am eastern time

Lots of coming and going this morning, and the usual "discussions" about the best place to put each stick - and there was the time that Dad decided the next stick he just had to move was the one Mom was standing on - Mom was not amused! That was just before the picture of her on the branch off to the side!

It is so exciting to see so much coming and going this morning! I think it is the female on the nest at the moment doing some nestorations.

What a wonderful way to start my day, seeing 2 eagles on the nest doing some serious nestorations! They have been on and off the nest for the past 2 hours. At the moment the male is on the nest eating! Here is video of them working together earlier:

The cam is having some issues this fall - it went down shortly after I posted that it was up, and now it's back but the exposure is a bit off, shall we say. It was completely black when I know it had begun to get light in eastern Maine, and now it's a nice sunny day - and it's looking like this:

Still - I'm thrilled that it's back up, and once the sun gets a bit higher in the sky I'm hoping it will settle down to a more normal view of the nest.

Folks on the Maine forum reported hearing some calls - not sure if anyone has seen an eagle at the nest since it cam back online.

The camera is back on! It is an aging camera, so there's no guarantee how long it will run this time - but I'm planning to enjoy the view while it last - and hope for a peek at the eagles.

Here's a current picture of the nest for the record.

This cam is having some challenges - was very dark yesterday - but is looking good today!

Now all we need are some eagles....

You can hear some construction noises in the background - likely not as close as they sound, but they might encourage the pair to hang out in another part of their territory today.

The picture above was taken a little earlier. The water is now beginning to show a bit more blue. I do love the view at this nest!
