Thanks Pat! This nest really is great for Photographs.... The beautiful skies, sunrises and sunsets. We are getting close to cam moving time. If all goes well, Thumper is planning on moving it this weekend. He already got the extension added to the mic, so once the jobs done we will have a great close view of our ealges as well as good sound!

Time to say Good night! Wonder if Elsie and Einstein will spend the night at the nest?

Good Morning Ozarks! Good Morning all!

Pat I think Thumper is going to move the cam today. We seem to be getting streaming from Frankie and Louies that Thumper works at during the summer. Not sure if it's intentional or not. I've had the cam on since I got up this morning and could hear Thumper and Sue out by the nest. It sounded like thumper had climbed the tree and was doing some prep work before the crane arrives. Sure wish we could see the action. He had orginally said we could watch as then we could chat at his thread to tell him if the cam is level or not.

From the noise we are hearing now, I would say the crane has arrived. Thumper said it was an old one and quite noisy! Sure hope it doesn't scare the E's and they decide to build elsewhere!!!

Thanks for the explanation, Jean.
I had definitely struck that cafe off my list - with all that noise going on Grin

I'll keep checking in to see how the cam maintenance/move is going!

:cry1:Cam Down Till Next Week!Cry Hanky

I've been waiting all day to see the new cam up and running. Just got this bad news from Thumper:

Butch was taking pictures and gave me copies,,, the power supply got smoked,,, i guess wires got stressed and it cooked,,, i never seen it happen up there,, i actually went on and had cam mounted,,,, really bummed this happened,,, crane gona stay in yard,, looks as if tuesday or wed is soon as i can get one,,,, its 24v 2.5 amps,, (a biggy) could get 24v 1 amp at rat shack,, but it wont run the cam,,, cause of heater and fan..

if its any consolation,,,, we are gona have spectacular view of the nest,,, had to pick a different limb than i thought looking from cam,, the limb i wanted was dead and rotted real bad..
