Daylight fading....
Had cam up all day and never saw Mom or Dad in
the nest....
It sure would be nice to see Mom and Dad get busy
in the nest bowl...Nodding yes

There were some adjustments made to the cam earlier today...
so not sure if this was done remotely or whether some of the IWS
crew members actually visited the nest site today.

January 9 2011

I had the nest up much of the day and did not see Mom or Dad on the nest.

Don has posted his Santa Cruz Island Report on the CHIL forum and as always it is a fantastic report with stunning pictures too Clapping Left thumb up. Don saw both Mom and Dad Wub and Don also posted some maps Nodding yes that identify the travels of both A68 an A69 our juvies from this nest from this past season....both are still in the area Whistling  which is absolutely fantatic news.

If you would like to read Don's great report and see his stunning pictures here is the link
Once again for some reason...the forum will not allow me to attach the link to the IWS report at CHIL...no clue why I have posted links to there many times in the past.

I will try to post the link tomorrow.

Nest is empty....lots of early morning
bird songs heard in the nest area...

Mom and Dad are busy building a new nest somewhere

Afternoon PH :hello:

I was reading over at CHIL today and Dr. Sharpe indicated there that if Mom and Dad are nesting elsewhere they will try have a cam at the new nest too. So far no confirmation that they are nesting elsewhere ...so talons crossed that K10 and K26 return to this nest soon. Will loook forward to Don and Helen next report to this area!!

The nest looks untouched....

325 pm
Nest is empty.

Can hear birds singing their lovely
songs Smile!
