awwwww!!!!! I was making plans to go. I think Terry was planning on meeting in the little park that is just outside the fence, it's a perfect spot for a little gathering.

I'm going to send her a pm to check....sigh sign

Yes - Please do - I have had absolutely no information at all!
It will be lovely if it does come together Grin

Not everyone will know about a park outside the fence - I was hoping for an address - be able to post a map - even a time so you don't all miss each other Puzzled

hello everyone!

It doesn't look like an 'official' get together at Lafarge will happen on Monday. I am sure I would have heard something by now if there was even a remote possibility that the press might come.

That Does NOT mean that our amazing photographers can't wander over to see if they can capture Chakchak out and about in the area.

It Also does NOT mean that we can't plan to meet near the nest in the next couple of weeks!! I Really want to see this nest 'in person'.

maybe NEXT Weekend? I did post a google map of the area in one of the threads. I will dig it up and post it here to see if we can at least come up with a good location.

dont give up! we can find a time to do this!

And because I'm lazy here is the link to the post, which has links to the descriptions of the parks in the immediate area

I live just a block away so I stop there almost every day... so I'd be up for a Fledge Fest just about any time

littledevils, (you live in the same 'hood as these Eagles), what park do you think would be a good place for us to gather for this fledgefest?

Terry, love thanks for trying to organize this picnic/fledgefest. I think it would be awesome if we can get the word out in time to include LaFarge and staff. They deserve the recognition for all their efforts and contributions to protect their Eagles.
Kudos to Lafarge and a big Yea to Ma and Pa Lafarge!

I know I'm not alone in saying this, week days exclude many of our members, for HWF lunches, get together's, fledgefest etc.... and probably everybody and their family who is employed by this plant.

as we all know, the media works 7 days a week.
