We try to post information up-to-date information about cameras that are temporarily off line on the "Report Cams Down" thread in the Welcome area - direct link is forum/viewtopic.php?showtopic=473.
Ideally we should also post on the relevant threads - but if we're in a hurry, we just put the update in the one central location.
And as Debs said, we are hoping the cam will be back online soon - but need to wait for some work to be done at the Lafarge site, and don't really know how soon they will be able to do that.
I'm also looking forward to seeing the Lafarge nest again, to see what sort of work the adults will be doing this time of year.

PEB. What a wonderful surprise when I read your post. I rushed over there and lo and behold the first sight that met my eyes was Ma [I believe] having dinner on the nest.
I have watched this facinating screen saver throughout the spring, summer and fall. Now I can't wait to see winter. Winter is wonderful when you are retired and you have the option to go out in it or not.
Happy viewing everyone.

I have yet to see the cam pan away from the c/u view of the nest and I've been watching about 15-20 minutes now
I came for the eagles, and stayed for the friends I made

Snapped at 6:27PM nest time 18 Oct 2010 ~ then the camera immediately went back to the nest tree!

Both eagles in the tree at 6:34PM ~ 18 Oct 2010
