Carolyn, konbanwa(good evening in japanese).
I am japanese if you did not know
I don't think I mentioned it
I was born in Alberta then moved to BC. so that makes me a Japanese Canadian( My parents were born in Japan).

Thank you all for sharing your rhyme
You're getting quite good over time
It puts the sparkle in my day
To log in and find my way
To the poetry corner
To hear what you say
But tonight I'm so tired
I'll just hit the hay
and save all my stuff for another day!
So oyasuminasai( good night in japanese) I don't know how to say-don't let the bed bugs bite.
see you all tomorrow. A goodnight hug for Bleu and the rest of you too
I'd offer some biscuits but i think you'll all prefer timmies instead. So help yourself
Night night gang

Oh my, what a surprise, what a gift!
It leaves me speechless!

Were we meant to meet in a moment so sweet?
The workings of nature are a wonder.

So, atarashi otomodachi (new friend) hello!

For all y'all don't worry, we will stick to English
as it can be frustrating I know.......to hear a lingo
which just you don't get, and wonder what is happening next.

I learned the hard way, in a home with no English, at 16
to speak Japanese fluently.
It is part of me now and I wonder just how,
our destiny is framed and by whom?

All y'all keep up the posts, they bring joy to us folk
and each day with wonders anew......from me and Bleu!

Oh what a joy and surprise
That you speak so cleverly in disguise
Was it meant to be
that my Texan friend
does speaketh japanese
arigato(thank you) for being the light
On some dark summer nights
Maybe some others know the language too
What a small world we'll even teach Bleu a few words or two.
Oriko means you're behaving well ( good dog)
Ai means love, we should often tell
I'll go back to the language we all know best
It's easier for poetry without the test

The light within each of us is something special to discover,
we look and find it without any druthers.
I see it in others and spread it around for joy is the answer
for all it must be found.

Laughter is contagious, ai (love) is spread around,
and enjoyable moments can often abound,
when you reach out to others opening your heart,
without fear of refusal, not even a retort.

I am still surprised we've all met in this way,
for eagle watching is seldom the normal play,
for people to find good friends to cherish,
and see the future smiling from the hearts so pure.

But find it we did, and now a new buddy,
who speaks the same language, one rare indeed.
You taught me a new word, I did not know, or forgot
"oriko" is new to me, but forget it I won't!

Does "ko" mean little one, as in other words?
and the "ori" what meaneth that to understand I must.
So we begin a new journey from this day and onward
with eagles soaring upward, into the bleu by Bleu and gone.

Good Night to y'all......I will see you tomorrow,
an adventure to continue with joy flying up to the sky.

I wonder sometimes when I see the birds flying by,
where they might have been and what did they see spying with their eyes.
Did they see wonders that we could not see, something so precious
we wish it could be for you and me.

Did they see a rainbow arising from the Earth while
rounding a corner to go South or North?
Did they see the sunset so clearly in the sky,
I wonder what they saw when they were flying by.

If they saw the ocean did they rest on their way,
or did they continue to fly to beat the time spent away,
from their nesting and mothering and all they can do,
when they have flown gently away from me and you.

Who feeds them, what feeders, in what countries are there?
Are they full with seed or empty with dispair?
Do they sing in the morning and sing in the night,
hoping to win a new chance or respite.

Their beauty astounds me, their ways are not understood,
for their lives are half here and half there on their journeys,
out to see the Arctic or even Peru, going distances that would be daunting
to me and you!

Just think the folks in their other places know their traces in the same manner,
for they see them coming and know it is time for the planner,
to get ready for Winter or Summer or such,
since the birds are the harbinger of all changes, well no rush!

So watch them in wonder to know you are part of the plan
truly invisible, the surprise of it all.
They join us for a time and then are on their trip,
and you will see them again when they are back on the flip!

dedicated to the Hummingbirds in my garden,

Well Carolyn
how blessed are your hummers to be the devotion to your art
What beautiful images words do create, what a way to start
It seems like you started a trend
Poetry of giving, lonely hearts on the mend
After our eagles have flown away
We are left here with much to say
To get back to our lives
To things we once knew
To spend some time with pets like Bleu
Where has time gone?
It did not leave us behind
For summers still here
But falls in the air
I can feel it and smell it
It is there
Just like the birds
We move with the season
Only they go with the flow
Without any reason
So enjoy the sunny skies
and Sweet berry pies
With a little ice cream
To go along with a dream
Have a great day!!!!

A quick thanks to all y'all who come here to play,
enjoying the poetry and words flying all over today!
They are wondrous, marvelous, beautiful and sweet
often bringing joy to faces on the street.

jas thanks for being you, and helping my muse,
for you just might not realize the impact you profuse,
with your cheerful heart and smiling, kind ways
you are a great friend to come to meet and stay.

The more the merrier is the expression I know,
so if you have words to post, do so, for sure,
for we cherish each thought from each person so different,
to color the walls in bright colors translucent.

Each person's hand print makes it quite unique,
and without them its limited in the direction we think.
If you have an idea for some poetry you wish,
please post it and we will see what we can dish!

Wonders can spring from a blank page, we know
so let's see what all together we can make it show!
Good Night sweet friends from your friend down in Texas........

Thank you Carolyn for your kind thoughts and gentle ways
It adds positivity and smiles to our days
We all have burdens to bear
So how lovely to find a place
Where we can simply share
A virtual coffee shop
where we can meet
It doesn't matter where you put your feet
Up on a couch, down on the floor
So long as you're not going out the door
So stay awhile as we all find our way
To the Poetry Corner Cafe
Could also be known as Bleus Room
There's no cover charge
And the coffee is free
The only thing required
Is a kind word or three
But my time has come to go to bed
To find more words for tomorrows thread
so sorry I must go, please stay awhile
I have to race to my bed before my cat can smile
Good night and thanks to everyone who shares so openly here
Maybe one night I'll offer some beer
Sleep tight buddies
