The miracle isn't that I finished.
The miracle is that I had the courage to start.

This is a sweater i made over 30 years ago for my sweetie Wub... and now my Grandson will soon be wearing it Red Heart.... thought i would share it with you... it is made from 100% fine wool...

I worked out the pattern from this picture she showed me and asked me if i could make it for her... took a few weeks to do this pattern on graph paper.. if you click on the pictures you will see a slight variation in the pattern between the big snowflakes ...

This is the first time I have been down in this thread! What beaurtiful work!

Monique, your artwork is wonderful, I spent quite a bit of time wandering through your gallery! I especially love your cat paintings!

Melanie, wonderful catch of the eagles. Do post more in the Eagles from other Lands thread!

Bluee, your quilt is gorgeous! I can appreciate the work you have put into it! My sister is an avid quilter, belongs to a couple of guilds, been on quilting retreats, the whole nine yardis! I, myself, have only managed some baby quilts as I just don't seem to have the gumption to takckle anything bigger!

Bev What beautiful work! The beadspread is absoultely stunning! Where do you get the patience! I have managed some doilies and baby outfits, (but nothing as beautiful as the christening outfit!) but when it came to anything bigger, I never finsihed it! I now stick to crocheting afghans (knitting takes too long!) as they seem to go much quicker.

After reading this thread I am tempted to take out one of my many uncompleted projects and finish it!

Now that the holidays are over, I hope to see more of your work posted here, you are all so talented!

Watcher in the Woods

This is the first time I have posted here. What an amazing pool of talent on this site! Very Happy

Here are a couple of images I created out of screen shots I got at the White Rock site this year.

The first one is an haiku (an ancient form of Japanese poetry) I wrote in honour of Delta's fledge.

This one is a "good night" image I created with the first verse of a Beatles lullaby,

I hope you enjoy them.
