October 2017

WildEarth is currently streaming our cameras through YouTube rather than directly from their servers, which is causing some issues for some people. Please post here to let us know if you discover an issue - and also to provide hints for others. I'm not sure if this is a short-term thing or if they will be moving in this direction more permanently - if there will be long-term changes, we'll have a thread that provides possible solutions for any issues that arise.

Thanks!

And thanks to WildEarth for keeping our cameras streaming as they go through some major changes on their website and I suspect behind the scenes.

Sometimes I can get a picture on the SPTZ Cam using Safari

The good news is that most times I can get both on Firefox.....

When I go to this page index.php?topic=Delta2#overhead, (and really any other live feed page) I get the message "Live Stream Off Line". Is that true and if it is when are the nest cams coming on line?

Hi Watcher! The Delta 2 cams are usually online - they went down a couple of hours ago, and I've sent an email to Ken to ask him to check them.

Both Harrison Mills cams are streaming at index.php?topic=HarrMills

The Wide Angle and Close-Up cams at White Rock are streaming at index.php?topic=White-Rock-Eagle1#CloseUp; the North cam is working, but the connection to make it visible on the website is not - we are in the process of changing how the cams will be streamed, and hope to get it working so everyone can see it soon. The South cam at White Rock needs a site visit, and we don't know if it can be fixed from the ground or if it will have to wait until the eagles leave next summer.

And the Lafarge cam needs a site visit, which is a lower priority since the eagles are not nesting within view of the cam - though the adults do perch where we can see them, so we are hoping to have the cam back soon.

Hope this helps!
