Nice s'cap of the Lafarge pair Judi. Smile
It is a little chilly here but much better than the rain. The sun is out and the sky is blue.

Thanks for the eagle rescue vid elle. Smile
I hadn't heard anything about it and know exactly where that is. Those trees are quite popular this time of the year.

Waving to All & saying Wowsa !! to the eagle rescue, elle.
Clapping They were not injured & in need of rehab.
It'll be interesting to see what David H has to say about it.

That's a long time to stay locked together & upside down, no less. Oh My

They had to have been exhausted. I wonder if that's why they hung there that long?

Neat that you recognize the tree, Scott.

JuD.......Mr&Mrs LaFarge Wub

The freezing fog makes me shiver.

Doree, I sure hope you are feeling better today. Nodding yes
I know you are dedicated to your job & paitents but you should not go to work feeling the way you described. NO
It seems they would be able to call in help, even if the supervisors have to cover your shift. hug

Later Byebye

Hello Friends, Happy New Year to you all. Wub

Lynda, Lovely photo of the Firehall Pair of Eagles. I also found the video very interesting that the Eagles were hanging from a tree due to a dispute. I have never seen anything like that before. Thanks for the share.

Scott, Very interesting report from Dr Lynn exposing the dishonesty of the DNR. I'm not sure if that will help his cause to get permits for the den cams, but it is apparent that he is frustrated that he has not heard from the DNR for his permits for den cams. It will be interesting to see what happens next. I would love to see the cams again like many others.Nodding yes

Bev, What lovely tulips, you always post the most beautiful flowers. Thank you. Wub

Doreen, Wow, you are the trooper. Working sick is the worst of worst my friend. I hope you are better today. I still say retirement sure would be great for you. Wub

Naoma, Are you enjoying your time off for the Holiday? Stacy loves her holiday off from school. Nodding yes

I took a drive down to Alton and was able to get photos from the bluff of the flooded Great River Road and able to drive on the high bluff roads to roads that took me down to the flooded river area. Here are photos and a youtube video from two recording I made from the bluff and down by the river. The Great River Road is totally covered with river water. Very sad to see. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xAMquunP0KE

I took Clifton Terrace down to the Great River Road and it is totally covered by the River.

Another photo from the foot of Clifton Terrace Rd, I was standing right at the edge of the river over the Great River Road.

I then travel Rt 3 on the bluff to a road that took me down to the flooded town of Grafton. This is the Illinois River flooding the road and town.

Iona.....somehow I'd missed the Snow Wolf link. I'm sure it's still work but what a great idea! Left thumb up

Scott, I thoroughly respect the way Dr. Lynn is standing up to the DNR & always stating facts. Unlike the DNR who tried to state fiction. Clapping

LInda, so sad about the flooding but you did a great job of showing the river madness. Nodding yes
I have enjoyed the time off, for sure. It's been a busy time until Wed;
since then I've been a "lazy slug" Grin. Except of course for what I wanted to do. Cloud 9
State Park time again tomorrow, which should be Sunny.

All the MIA NestYas have been on my mind & in my heart, especially with the start of the new year.

Big hugs

Happy New Year from Ma and Pa Sidney HERE.
Apologies for blown out and pixelated captures but that is all there is and it is what it is. Roll eyes The main thing is they are well and their nest is still miraculously intact! Phew

Linda: One more sleep to Downton. WooHooIt has been a long wait. Being the last season we shall savour every episode I am sure. Also, having been to the areas that are now flooded when I stayed at your house, I can visualise where it is and it is devastating. I am glad you are on higher ground.
I hope Lynn's treatments go by fast and easily and I also hope she is all done by summer.

Dee: Get well! And don't go to work! That is an order! hug

Out

P.S. Wouldn't this be weird
