Hi Birdsie, I read your note on Penzey's spices. I have seen the catalog and I think their spices would be very good. I grow a few herbs, and buy my spices and some dry herbs at an Amish grocery nearby.

I like a little heat in my cooking, but not hot, hot. My Hubby makes his coleslaw with a little hot pepper sauce, just enough for a hint of heat. It is so good.
