Wow -- what amazing pictures from both Gail and Linda. I am so thrilled to know that you made the trip up to see our Province all the way from Illinois, Linda. I am sure you had a wonderful visit with Lynda and Ian. I wish we'd been able to meet. I was only there for Friday evening to have dinner with the group. Were you there? I can't imagine that Lynda wouldn't have introduced us if you were. :dunno:

David is a wonderful speaker and once he gets talking you want him to just go on and on ...

Yes, the fish you saw being weighed and measured is a Sturgeon. They are a very ancient species and are protected here in B.C.

Cheers!

Thanks Terry, Gord and I started planning and talking about the adventure to the festival, Vancouver, and the Island nearly a year ahead of time. It was so wonderful to meet David and others from HWF. We had a wonderful time and Eagle Heaven was awesome. We did not make the Friday night dinner, so I'm sorry I did not get to met you or Sandra. I hope we can meet another time.

Cheers,

Linda

Hello everyone.. On Sat Nov 24th, we headed out to Kilby, to meet up with the boat tour and had a wonderful lunch. We picked Karen up to take her back to Mission. David and Mary went the other direction, out to Harrison Hot Springs.

You had your very own mini Bald Eagle Festival, Pam! I think that extending some aspects of the Festival out over 4 weekends is going to be very successful in the future. Next year we can all be on alert to take advantage of the weekend that suits us best!

All those specks are a feast for my eyes!! Sitting eagle Sitting eagle

Hi Sassy Thank You. I do hope you make it out there.. Honestly there is nothing like it in the world.. IMHO.

Hi Terry LOL my own little festival. I was only out there to pick up Karen, the rest was a bonus!!

David tells me he gets 7 cents a photo.. so I think I am up to owing him 14 cents now!
