Beautiful photos Christian! Thank you so much for what you do. Do you document (location, date, etc.) into an album for future reference?

Thank you cococat9, llefty, sassyk for your kind words. Yes, Question by llefty:

Do you document (location, date, etc.) into an album for future reference?

Yes I do for your information, the best images I took on the first day were around Harrison Mills, taking time and patience to find the right moment.
It would be great if images could be geo-tagged in the forum (for public locations only) as it can be done in Flickr.

The second day of the festival was marked by a noticeable increase in the number of eagles present. In the morning I met David Hancock diligently counting again whilst I took these images at Eagle Point in the early morning sun.

I then went around Harrison Mills to quiet spots taking lots of time and patience to find suitable moments. I found the eagles to be very shy in general when compared to gulls and crows (I wish it were reversed). I was mostly amazed at the shear number of eagles

Whilst I was waiting in the grass for something to happen, a helicopter suddenly appeared and the noise caused some action which is a photographer's dream

The helicopter noise gave a good sense of the number of eagles - this is only a fraction of the sky! Eagles everywhere

At 1pm the boat trip was booked - and if anyone has not done this before, you may change your mind to do it soon Grin
