We do not have Stellar Jays in Ontario. They are impressive to look at

Pat: I'll gladly trade the Steller for your Blue Jay. We do not have that type of jay in this area.

Black squirrel, 11-30-10. All the snow has melted, and has been replaced with wind and lots of rain. Can’t remember the last sunny day. Working downstairs on the computer when I spotted this squirrel, which headed for the suet that’s supposed to be reserved for the birds. Photo taken through glass window. Click to enlarge.

Fantastic Ed. We get the black & gray bushy-tailed nutcrackers climbing the apartment building walls. SOme people are silly enough to let them nest on their balconies, Big mistake. The gray are my favourite. Funny we never see the red sQuirrels near the buildings, They're smart, they stay in the bush away from people. Musat be wonderful to be able to look out a window & see eagles LIVE instead of having to rely on web cams.:ds:
