Hi nightowl!

Here is a s'cap from the GBH nest from the Cornell Lab people and Laura_cornellbirds posted the address of the picture and encouraged people to share it. I have a s'cap of her permission if anyone needs it. It is also now linked on their Tweets page which does not require a Twitter account to view. It is a Twitter update done by the Cornell people.

There are 2 pips and the chicks can be seen, even the egg teeth.

Good morning!

There are 2 hatches and one more expected today.

Cornell has a Twitter page that keeps updates and you do not have to be a member to see it.

Status update: The herons have five eggs: two eggs hatched on April 27; a third has pipped. You can see all of our updates by following the CornellHerons Twitter feed

10:25 AM First feeding.

Mother regurgitated food in the nest and the chicks feed on it. She did not put it in their mouths. Their heads were hitting the food constantly. I missed her regurgitate it but got some s'caps of them eating. 2 chicks fed, one still hatching.
