These three are from today from 1:16 pm to 1:20 pm in the same location as yesterday

In this first one the juvie on the right is very peculiar looking. I spotted him yesterday also and he's smaller with different markings but he's being accepted. I'm not sure what's up with him.

Someone had put something very large out for them. I couldn't get close enough of course to ID what it was but they couldn't lift it. I have a feeling that the roads department may have delived a road kill deer to them as we get a lot of them sadly. That's why they're all there in one spot

here it looks like they're lining up for something Titter

My video making skills freehand with my camera leave plenty to be desired but if you or anyone wants to see the eagles from today. Here’s the link…

Thanks so much Kay. You can hear the wind in the video so it was very hard staying upright let alone steady so I was happy that it turned out at all so you guys could see them. Today turned out to be a Red-Tailed Hawk day but I did find eagles yesterday. Titter

Two photos of a juvenile Bald Eagle, created yesterday in Western Whatcom County, just before sunset. Note the warm light.

Hi Doug and Lori: I've posted on this thread in the old forum, but I don't get around to it that often so it was nice to see your photos. Enjoyed seeing the immature on the Nooksack. Good detail, Doug, and a very sharp pix. Lori: Your photos and You Tube movie sure convey the cold climate. I loved at the two-thirds part in the video where all the eagles took off. Were you shooting with a video camera or was it a digital camera with video capability? You must have been freezing after holding the camera for some 3 and 1/2 minutes. Take care.
