Neither eaglet has been to the nest for about 24 hours. It would seem that the smaller, male eaglet has fledged as well. It's very bittersweet for me. sigh sign As usual I have really become attached to these beautiful Spanish eagles and their two eaglets. I will miss looking in on them and watching them grow and learn to be eagles. I hope the babies stay safe and well and learn to be mighty hunters. Fly high, Baby Bonellis and God Speed!! Wub

I will continue to check the cam for as long as it is running to see if I can catch a glimpse of those gorgeous fledglings!! love

Thank You Cal, I have enjoyed every minute of doing it...even if it meant some pretty late nights!!

The young juvis never returned to the nest to the best of my knowledge and now the cam has been turned off for the season. I wish them well in their quest to become beautiful adult eagles. Red Heart

Cal...Thank you! That's a wonderful link. I had not seen that one on my research of these eagles. There is a wealth of information on the Bonelli's eagle on that page. I'm going to try to include that in the first page next year!!! Thank You
