A Great Blue Heron flew over the lake

Back to the nest, this time I could see a little head peeking over the branches, so they were up there!

We were inside the house when Mother and Father G decided to leave the nest and head over to the lake

Just so everyone knows, these are the 2 Canada Geese that are nesting in our Mission Eagle Nest.

They were enjoying the shoreline and having a nice visit with the duck neighbours

Then landed in the tree directly behind the Cam tree, this could be another reason that our Geese have to defend their nest.

Meanwhile our geese are still over enjoying the lake and what it has to offer.

Our Geese still had not returned to the nest. As we left I took a couple shots of the nest tree

However, upon closer observation.. it turns out that Jill is sitting in the nest!

She is hard to see and I couldn't get any closer to her.. but you can just make out the white head

Just to be clear, in one afternoon you saw: Eagle, Ducks, GB Heron, Geese, Hawk ... you must have been in bird heaven, Pam!

Thank you so much for taking the time to visit the area. And thanks also to Percy for his kindness in letting you enjoy the rich diversity of his property and share it with us.

I came for the eagles, and stayed for the friends I made
