She or He is the cutest bird. Getting their home ready that should be fun to watch them. Wonder how many little fellas they have. You know the Blackwater eagle mom is back on the nest and so far she has laid 2 eggs.There expecting maybe a 3rd.. Her husband never helped her at all last year and she raise two healthy eagles all by her self incl. having to go and leave them while she hunted for food, I was in tears. Now this year he brought her a fish to eat, he better help this year I hope
Go see it Vicky you will enjoy it just type in Blacwwater eagle nest...They have a light there that goes on & off at night so you can see her sitting there..
I will be glad when everything opens up again Eagle wise.
Now what next can I come up with that is interesting. Well another poem as it says what I believe
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"Portrait of a Friend"
I can't give solutions to all of life's problems, doubts,
or fears. But I can listen to you, and together we will
search for answers.
I can't change your past with all it's heartache and pain,
nor the future with its untold stories.
But I can be there now when you need me to care.
I can't keep your feet from stumbling.
I can only offer my hand that you may grasp it and not fall.
Your joys, triumphs, successes, and happiness are not mine;
Yet I can share in your laughter.
Your decisions in life are not mine to make, nor to judge;
I can only support you, encourage you,
and help you when you ask.
I can't prevent you from falling away from friendship,
from your values, from me.
I can only pray for you, talk to you and wait for you.
I can't give you boundaries which I have determined for you,
But I can give you the room to change, room to grow,
room to be yourself.
I can't keep your heart from breaking and hurting,
But I can cry with you and help you pick up the pieces
and put them back in place.
I can't tell you who you are.
I can only love you and be your friend.
I want you to read why I like Tea better than Coffee. ok
Here are the results of research into black & green tea:
Black Tea Research
· A long-term study by the Netherlands National Institute of Public Health and the Environment found a correlation between regular consumption of black tea and reduced risk of stroke. Researchers looked at data from a study examining the health benefits of foods that are high in flavonoids - phytonutrients with antioxidant benefits. While some of the flavonoids were obtained from fruits and vegetables, seventy percent came from black tea. The study looked at 552 men & women over a 15 year period. Researchers concluded that the flavonoids in black tea helped reduce the production of LDL - the "bad" cholesterol that can lead to stroke and heart attacks. Furthermore, men and women who drank over four cups of black tea per day had a significantly lower risk of stroke than men who drank only two to three cups per day.
· A separate study by Dr. Joseph Vita at Boston's School of Medicine supported these results. For four months, sixty-six men and women drank four cups of either black tea or a placebo daily. Dr. Vita concluded that drinking black tea can help reverse an abnormal functioning of the blood vessels that can contribute to stroke or heart attack. Furthermore, improvement in the functioning of the blood vessels was visible within two hours of drinking just one cup of black tea.
· Finally, a study of over 3,000 adults in Saudi Arabia - where black tea is favored over green - found that regular consumption of the dark brew can reduce the risk of coronary heart disease by fifty percent.
Now that was the laugh for the day. There is a saying that says
It’s true that we don’t know what we’ve got until we lose it,
but it’s also true that we don’t know what we’ve been missing until it arrives.
Well I can tell you I am not missing those shingle itches one bit, I only get a
few picks but am on the way to recovery. It had taken a lot out of this old hen let me tell you.
Stella knows what it's like huh Stella,?
The day Tuesday is overcast and grey .brown fields soden wth rain and pudles as
large as small lakes abound.
Not nice at all but this is the element they found and it is what they said it would be,
one of the worst... If people only knew.I fear for the new generations coming but
maybe they will know how to fix it. I hope
So with the dark and dreary day, so goes the mind
, so I will try to be more cheerful and pretend the sun is shining. . .
Here;s one for you
Did you know........That the
Building Block Of Life
Life on earth came, if not from ancient astronauts, in part from outer space.
NASA astronauts have discovered an amino acid, glycine, essential for life on earth, on a comet, confirming a long-held theory that the building blocks for life came from outer space,
“Our discovery supports the theory that some of life’s ingredients formed in space and were
delivered to Earth long ago by meteorite and comet impacts,” said James Elsila,
of NASA’s Goddard Space Flight Center in Greenbelt, Maryland.
That’s exciting because it suggests other comets and extraterrestrial bodies are
flinging the essential amino acids around the galaxy,
I wonder
raising the possibility that life may well have developed elsewhere.
“The discovery of glycine in a comet supports the idea that the fundamental building blocks of life are prevalent in space, and strengthens the argument that life in the universe may be common rather than rare,” said Carl Pilcher, director of NASA’s Astrobiology Institute.
