Good Day Friends From The North Pole Titter

We are having a true winter storm with up to 10 or more inches of snow. The temps are suppose to drop to a minus 35 F tonight. Sweety Pie and I are laying low and warm indoors. Snow

Scott, I enjoyed yours and Chase's outing photos. Mount Cheam and the Eagles are gorgeous!!! Thanks for the link to the cam. I also watched the video that was posted at the Bear web site link.

Jean, Great catch by jean of the Moose at night!!!!

Carolyn, Sounds like you had a wonderful visit with your family. Left thumb up

Laurie, How special your post was today my friend. Thank you for sharing Amy's post and photo. I know in my heart that Nancy is close to them and us always. Wub

Naoma, I have had the same thoughts. I would hate being banded in any manner. Nodding yes I have friends that I take out for adventures on the rivers. I don't think I would want to deal with actual tours. I do share information with people I meet on the road. Nodding yes

I have posted some more photos at the thread, here is the link.

Cool that cousin Jane gets to see large wildlife so close to home Jean. Smile

Thanks for posting Amy's owl pic and lovely message Laurie. Smile
There isn't a day goes by without Nanc popping into my thoughts somewhere along the way.

Good to hear the cardinals are still around Carolyn. Lovely pics of the pair. Smile
They're always an automatic link to Sue.

Pretty pic of your snowy deck & Sweety Pie watching the snowfall Linda. Smile
That temperature is far too cold!
Beautiful pics of the eagles and scenery from your last outing. How cool to see the eagle catch a fish and have the sequence in pics and then to see the later chase with the other eagles. The first eagle was lucky to be able to eat in peace.

Scott, Laurie & All
, your comments about Nancy reminded me of wanting to share a concept I recently heard. It's called One Word.

"Choose just one word.

One word that sums up who you want to be or how you want to live. One word that you can focus on every day, all year long.

It will take intentionality and commitment, but if you let it, your one word will shape not only your year, but also you. It will become the compass that directs your decisions and guides your steps.

Discover the big impact one word can make."

At first I thought.......wow, it would be hard to chose only one word. About that time, "Grateful" popped into my head and I realized it had been my word for a long time. Smile

Off to Linda'Bear's bird show. Byebye

wow Scott, the NABC cam loaded for me immediately, ty for the link, Holly is buried almost totally in her hay bed, (this catch up was started quite earlier though Roll eyes ) looks warm and comfy and she appears to be out like a light. i see link above too for UStream, which i may try another time. i also enjoyed your wonderful thread pics, went back to my last visit there and saw some beautiful pics i missed on the 3rd of Dec, funny, my b-day Grin really loved seeing yesterdays swans, juvies and beautiful adults, and the gorgeous RTH, great short drive again for you and us. just saw the latest update, very good read, and enjoyed the Holly checking Lucky video. Smile

Jean, nice photo of the moose and her baby taken by Jane, Gord will like that. Left thumb up

Carolyn, nothing like having g-children visit. hug Whitey just plain enjoys all attention, stories and all, just wants me talking to him constantly, and i certainly do a lot every day too Grin poor Cardinal seems confused, maybe putting something in the window could deter him from hitting it, they are so beautiful, lucky you having them living in your yard, ty for the pics

Laurie, ty for Amy's wonderful photo and share, Nancy will always be terribly missed here, as well as Sue and Lori Red Heart

Linda, stay warm and cozy with Sweety Pie, it looks like you are really getting a big storm, with the freezing temps on the way too, brrr love that pic of the young eagle, and pretty pics of the snow piling up, and cute look on Sweety Pie's face Wub very nice pics at your thread, never thought about how important the ice braeker barges are to our wildlife, i know now. Left thumb up Deb lives at the North Pole, -37 nothing to them they are so used to it, i wonder how their cars start every day Chin

Naoma, everybody's in the deep freeze again tomorrow, teeth chattering already. cute Bullwinkle Grin that one word would be my first choice too, as i feel grateful for still being here every day, and for so many other reasons the list is long

wave Annie, Elle, and everyone, hope you enjoy the evening
